4th Grade Gratz Brown Elementary I am originally from the Laddonia, Mo area. I graduated from Community R-VI High School in 2011. I then went on to attain my Bachelor of Science degree at Hannibal-LaGrange University. I graduated from there in 2015. I look forward to experiencing this year of teaching at Gratz Brown! I believe that students’ success comes from the inside; from their hearts and minds. In order for them to achieve this success they need support and encouragement from the outside; parents, peers, administration and teachers. As a teacher, I want to be a stepping stone to my students’ success. I want them to ask questions, try hard and maybe even fail a little, so that they will learn from their mistakes. I want my classroom to be a comfortable place for students to adventure through new topics and ideas and feel comfortable enough to set goals that they would have never thought to shoot for. I am looking forward to this school year. Hey, maybe I will learn a little from my students and they can learn from me. Life is just a long learning process that teaches us more and more. “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all” Source Unknown |
